PHOTOGRAPHY
I have been taking photographs for a very long time, without any particular ambition. Quite simply, photography gives me great pleasure because it allows me to fully appreciate the beauty of nature in all its forms, then to reawaken that beauty within myself later on and pass it on to others. Having been fascinated by the extraordinarily diverse world of insects since childhood, I have done a lot of macrophotography. This helps me to focus my attention on a whole range of fascinating aspects of the world around me. Often, when I look closely at the photographs I have taken, I discover captivating details that I did not see when I took the picture: a smaller insect hidden under a flower petal, a tiny mimetic spider waiting for its prey, the reflection of the surrounding landscape in a drop of water, my own reflection in a frog's eye...
Over the years, I have accumulated a large number of photographs. The creation of this website now gives me the opportunity to share some of them with you. I have organised them into twelve themes, ranging from the haunting beauty of water droplets to the connection between humans and nature, including the diversity of creatures with fur, feathers, shells or flowers that are our companions on this magnificent living planet that is Earth.
